About: Early in my career, I did both user interface design and user interface engineering. When the field specialized, I gradually shifted into primarily doing user interface engineering. Let's face it, the engineers still have the final say. :-)

However, I have stayed active in the design community through my volunteer efforts for BayCHI and UXnet.
