About: Out of 2 experiences in my life, I was inspired with the vision and the motivation to develop CareFlash. CareFlash passionately seeks to support the Health 2.0 space offering a number of cross-promotional marketing strategies and revenue sharing models.

CareFlash delivers unprecedented healthcare advocacy and world class education to people in the richest circumstances imaginable, while offering unique philanthropic benefits to healthcare-related foundations, advocacy groups, religious institutions, etc.

Although there are companies that have been around for years, that do bits and pieces of what CareFlash does, what we do is unique and unprecedented.

When someone learns that they (or their loved one) have been diagnosed with a chronic healthcare challenge, a flurry of painful emotions appear ranging from fear and feelings of aloneness, to anxiety, uncertainty and even depression. As families begin the process of navigating through this experience together, it commonly becomes clear that people are ill-equipped, unprepared and inexperienced at the realities of serving as a caretaker. CareFlash addresses these challenges, empowering our users to do the following:

· CareFlash enables the caretaker to post updates in a private blog, which are automatically sent via email to all the community members. These email CareFlashes commonly eliminate 30-40 conversations a day for the caretaker, freeing them to provide substantial attention to the patient. All of the CareFlash recipients are able to reply to the messages and updates with well-wishes, prayers and messages of strength and support. It’s common where the family pastor will engage in these exchanges, bringing strength, faith and sustenance to all involved.

· CareFlash educates the patient, caretaker and community members on the particular disorder at hand, specific treatment options, and hundreds of other health concerns through easy to understand 3-D medical animations. The animations are produced by Blausen Medical Communications and are the best interactive medical resources available anywhere. They are narrated in plain everyday English, Spanish and other languages. The animations encompass hundreds of healthcare topics ranging from pregnancy and neonatal issues to cancer, cardiovascular, ears/eyes, neurological, genetic, bladder/kidney, digestive/mouth, endocrine, blood/immune, respiratory, orthopedic, skin/cosmetic and others.

· When healthcare challenges are present, help is continually needed. However, egos get in the way, no one wants to be intrusive and, although everyone is saying “If there’s anything we can do, please let us know…” asking for help is frequently awkward. CareFlash provides an interactive calendar to coordinate care in an unobtrusive way and without putting anyone on the spot. When help is needed with errands, meals and countless other tasks, entries are easily created allowing community members to sign-up to help. The CareFlash iHelp Calendar helps ensure that tasks are met when and where it’s convenient for the members, saving the patient from experiences like having three families show up with meals on the same evening or having visitors arrive when the patient needs privacy in connection with treatments.

· This is all offered for free because our revenues are derived from advertising.
